The life of a young child trapped in the foster care system takes an unexpected turn when he makes a very public plea for a forever home and the injustices of the system are uncovered. “The Davion Effect” (directed by Ken Nolan and GB Young) premiered at the 2025 Sarasota Film Festival. The upcoming impact campaign includes a multi-city theatrical release, digital educational distribution, and using the film as a catalyst to advocate for legislative policy reform in foster care and adoption systems.
