“Family Rewritten” was an official selection of over 30 film festivals and garnered 19 award nominations. The documentary is currently available for streaming through Alexander Street Press and Third World Newsreel. Its comprehensive impact campaign featured three film tours and targeted screenings at educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and child welfare conferences. Funding was provided, in part, by the Artist Volunteer Center’s Jessie Streich-Kest Memorial Grant, the Brooklyn Arts Council, and Annie E. Casey Foundation.
